I influenced my cousin to have an LJ account - not that I'm keen to updating but hey, it worked. And I know that there had been issues about mature content here a few months ago but I never thought that this is how they resolved it. O.O

So here we were, unknowingly creating a new LJ account and then we see this age verification thing saying that even though my cousin was thirteen years old above, the computer we were using had previously created an account that didn't pass their age requirement thing. And they wanted us to either verify her age using a credit card or by mailing to them a copy of a government issued photoID or her birth certificate.

Talk about being paranoid.

I know people have lied about their age, but hey that's not our problem. And saying that the computer we were using had previously registered an account is bull. I bet they always say it to new users. Well, of course we didn't have any other choice but to email them her driver's license since she absolutely do not trust any web page to give out her credit card number.

Well, I don't really have a problem with that, see, if I had a major problem with their policy then I wouldn't be in LJ right now. I wonder if all the 6apart blog sites are the same.

Hmmm.... Oh well, I'd say welcome to my cousin in LJ nonetheless. Hopefully, she's more of an updater than I am.

I created a blog at wordpress  today, it's to keep my saved h/d stories from being banished forever if something ill happens to my Hard Drive. It's a private blog and posts will be mostly viewable by me only.

What I was wondering tho, are authors going to permit me to copy paste their writings in my blog? I assure you, and them that I will credit them, I even have the whole format for author, title, rating etc. before the cut. Well, it's not like they're going to see them anyway but still. I know that others doesn't want their stories anywhere except their own journals and the communities that they post it to. I'm sort of asking permission from them, in this entry... So all you wonderful authors in my flist, can I post your stories at my wordpress blog? :D I promise to credit you even if the post is private only to me. I just don't want to lose all my collections again because my hard drive suddenly crashes. >.> So yeah, it's okay  if you have conditions and all or you're not willing for me to post it there... just tell me in this post!
